About APX

Who is APX for?

Sophomores, juniors and seniors preparing for the digital SAT, especially students whose score has stalled or who are up against an application deadline.

One-on-one or group?

Both. Most students pick one-on-one for full attention. Small groups are available if you want a lower price.

Who is the tutor?

Jaswant Singh: B.E. Engineering from IIT Varanasi (2021), former math tutor at CueMath, 4+ years teaching SAT math. Full profile.

Do you tutor anything besides the SAT?

The digital SAT

How long is the SAT?

2 hours 14 minutes and 98 questions. Reading & Writing is two 32-minute modules of 27 questions; Math is two 35-minute modules of 22 questions.

What’s a good score?

Using the College Board’s SAT User percentiles: a 1200 is around the 75th percentile, 1300 the 85th, 1400 the 93rd and 1500 the 97th. The Class of 2025 averaged 1029.

Can I use a calculator?

Yes. The Bluebook test app has the Desmos graphing calculator built in for the whole Math section, and we teach you how to use it fast.

What does “adaptive” mean?

Each section has two modules. How you do on the first module decides whether the second one is harder or easier.

Pricing & policy

How much does it cost?

$35 a session, $175 for 5, $335 for 10 ($33.50 a session), or $2,800 for the Score Program. Compare plans.

Why is daily homework required?

Sessions teach the method. Homework is the practice that makes it automatic on test day. Thirty to sixty minutes a day is the difference.

Is there a money-back policy?

Yes, as long as the 30-minute daily homework rule is kept. If the homework rule is broken, the money-back policy no longer applies. Read the full policy.

How fast will the score go up?

It depends on the starting point and how consistent the homework is. On the free call we look at a recent score and give you an honest timeline.
